6月11日，第14届上海电影节开幕，默多克携妻子邓文迪亮相，为《雪花与秘扇》造势。2010年，邓文迪的事业扩展至大荧幕，由她担任制片人的电影《雪花与秘扇》高调开拍。2011年6月，该片正式在各影院上线。
